How Long Does It Take to Build a Patio?

The Patio Construction Process

1. Complimentary On-site Consultation

We begin with a free consultation at your home to evaluate the space, discuss your goals, and recommend materials and design options based on how you intend to use the patio. We’ll also confirm if HOA approval is required.

2. Proposal Development

After the consultation, we create a customized proposal tailored to your scope, material choices, and site conditions. Proposals are detailed, transparent, and built specifically for your project, never a flat square-foot estimate.

3. Design Visualization (If Needed)

While patios typically don’t require formal construction plans, we offer 3D renderings upon request. This can be especially helpful when HOA approval is needed or when the design is more complex.

4. Pre-Construction Meeting

Before work begins, we schedule an on-site meeting with your project manager to walk the space, review the finalized plan, discuss logistics (such as access and cleanup), and confirm timelines.

5. Construction Begins

Patio construction typically starts within a few weeks of the pre-construction meeting. If your patio is part of a larger project such as a deck or sunroom, it will be completed after those primary structures are finalized.

If the patio is a standalone project, construction will begin based on our hardscape team’s availability.

6. Project Completion & Final Walkthrough
